Subject: In my opinion, blacks don't need to agree with the way whites use the n-word word (just SAY it, N-word sounds so childish). There's no need for whites to ask for permission from blacks to use any language. Your opinion is that this word was created to dehumanize blacks during slavery. Blacks may have simply chosen to turn the word around and use it towards their own kind; it is a sense of empowerment that blacks get to secure and whites are also free to use and secure if they so choose, with no permission from the blacks either. Remember, you all want equality. Equal is equal on BOTH sides. You may not understand it or agree with it but the fact remains that that's your prerogative. Just like it's my prerogative to express myself in this forum. If blacks don't like it, then don't engage in a conversation where you might get offended.
