Additional Comments: Why not Eric Braden? I am serious and not being nasty. Erric is over 70 years old and should be ready to retire Victor's demis should be a powerful story and I could see Sharon fighting the Newman kids. Was ED actually fired or put on recurring? Has she said anything else since announcing the firing?

Victor is way, way beyond his shelf life. I hope EB leaves for good when his contract is up but I doubt his ego will allow it.

The thing is it isn't just ego, health, spouse and family are also considered and I do think he will consider these things. I agree he is an egomaniac and terribly in character of Victor but there everything I have seen shows he has a wonderful family relationship and also his health is deteriorating, maybe it is in vain, but I hope he walks. Gidge.

Aren't you the one who has predicted, for almost a year, that EB will want to hang out with his family and retire? I've asked several times what proof you had that EB was ready to retire, and there's really not been an answer.
I'm not trying to be a jerk here. I'm being honest.
EB will never retire. EVER. He see's himself as the savior of this show. He RUNS this show. Age has nothing to do with it. EB is 70? So?
EB is the cancer of this show, plain and simple.

I have no proof and his contract is not up yet so we will see and I am sure I am wrong but I want it to be true. LOL! Gidge

Well his contract is up in August and he's already talking about walking if things get as nasty as last time.

There is buzz from SOD that DOOL may want to bring ED back. Kind of confusing since DOOL is going through a rough patch.

Sony is in the red and their new CEO is a turn-around artist. Just speculating, but Sony may want to divest themselves of some business units, in order to focus on their core competencies.
