Additional Comments: If anyone is unsure why Blabby is such a self-centered, willful little spoiled brat, just look at her primary role model, good ol' mom. Trashley meets her daughter's teacher, but the minute she starts to hear negative criticism about her little darling, she storms off in a fit of righteous indignation. The teacher's observations seem to pretty much correspond with what we've seen of the juvenile delinquent in training, but Mom can't stand to hear her little Gabby made to sound like a "drug addict" (that's probably next for her), and so she cuts her off, rather than addressing some unpleasant truths.
She reminds me of the mother of a wretched girl I knew in junior high school, who was the most hard boiled, self destructive little brat I've ever met (you know the kind, smoking, both regular cigarettes and the other kind, drinking, boinking pretty much any guy who asked her out, etc.)..and yet her mother wouldn't let her hang out with any of us because she thought we were all bad influences on her!

Message: I agree with every word as well. One of the reasons Ashley is such an unlikable character is that she is a smug, holier than thou, hypocritical, nasty bitch as was evident in her scenes with her spoiled brat Abby's teacher. Ashley is so downright unpleasant without any genuine warmth. Though this bitchy Ashley is still preferable to the Ashley that crawls on all fours to Victor and behaves like pathetic teenager in heat around him.

Her mom and biodad reunited only to have the marriage end
Her biodad is shot, needs ahearttransplant and then leaves the country
Her cousin/sister is killed

Is it any surprise, Ashley is the queen of 'can dish it out, but can't take it', she is quickly becoming one of my least likable characters.
She uses that snotty, dismissive 'this is how it's gonna bethankyou' tone in all of her confrontations....but the minute, she's on the recieving end of somebody else's authority, she gets all indignant and storms out in a huff!
Can't wait for the day Sharon shows up at Ash's door and demands her baby back.
