Charlotte Ramsey is now being referred to as the one who "put Katherine's baby up for adoption."

Whether or not that's true, wasn't Charlotte first located back in '03 (and believed to be Jill's bio mom) because it was her name on Jill's birth certificate?? Are they not going to mention this at all?

This has really been bugging me ever since the undid Katherine and Jill being mother and daughter. Why was Charlotte Ramsey's name on Jill's birth certificate? And if Katherine isn't Jill's mother, then who was? There's a good story here somewhere and they aren't bothering to tell it.

Charlotte took the baby and gave it to the Fosters...At least that was way it used to be! Kay never saw her baby..that's why they may rewrite that she had a boy and not a girl. Which I am not believing BTW.

Yes, Charlotte claimed to Kay that she (Charlotte) signed the birth certificate the day after Jill was born. I suppose longtime viewers are supposed to simply forget that conversation. Too bad for smart viewers that it's also posted on youtube. The writers and producers who enjoy changing facts around must HATE youtube for that very reason!/KB

Charlotte took the baby to the hospital, not to the Fosters. The hospital forced her to leave a name for the birth certificate so she left her own. It was never explained how the Foster adopted Jill. Liz told Jill that Bill simply came home with a baby one day and she never asked him where he got it! That always slayed me.

Seriously! All this sloppy inconsistency is getting annoying./KB

We all know Y&R is fiction. However, undoing and re-writing history, or simply being TOO LAZY to go back and look up what that history is so you don't contradict it is NOT acceptable just because it's fiction. It's supposed to be a continuing story; if you keep undoing and rewriting history, that defeats the whole purpose of it being a continuing story ..... April

Well, it was Charlotte who dropped Jill off at the hospital, and, back then, you had to give a name for the birth certificate; Charlotte gave hers to (supposedly) protect Katherine. Now with the rewrite (which these writers are horrible at doing), they would be better off not addressing that at all.

On another inconsistency, the Judge was supposed to be Jill's daddy. Is he now going to be the father of the new daughter?
