Gloria's completely absurd, lol! She thinks that a legitimate adoption agency is just gonna hand her over a baby, like tomorrow, without checking her background or interviewing her or.....anything? I couldn't believe that she thought it was nit-pickety of them to want to fingerprint her and all that! So I guess that she fired her lawyer because she thinks thats too much red-tape to go through? What's she gonna do now, get Michael to find her one on the blackmarket?

Message: Sadly, I know someone IRL, just like Gloria who DID get to adopt, not once but twice. She passed the home study & the countless meetings w/the social worker(s). They were far more interested in her having a clean house & a hefty bank account than whether or not she would be a good parent. The person I'm speaking of, like Gloria, wasn't good parent material & the kids suffered for it for the rest of their lives. I feel for the mothers/parents who gave those two babies up for adoption, believing that they were going to a better home than the bio-parents could provide. The reality was, both kids would have been better off being raised homeless, under an overpass, than in the house w/all the trappings--which wasn't a home.

Message: Gloria is a twit. I wouldn't allow her to adopt a puppy. And, trust me, Gloria would never pass the review process I went through to adopt my cat, LOL. If you ask me, Gloria wants a baby for no other reason than to trot the little darling all over Genoa City, showing everyone how much "good karma" she's producing. If Gloria really wants to do some good with all her dough, she could afford to sponsor an entire village of third world orphans. But I guess all Gloria's good deeds need an audience, don't they.
