Topic: Good thing Rebecca isn't living with George anymore

Additional Comments: Rebecca would be ashamed of her son George seeing him luring another back into the evils of gambling addiction. And watching the devilish look on George/Brad's face. Other than killing Nazis with his thighs, George acted so virtuous and  noble around his mother--protecting his family, shipping them off to Hawaii to protect them, and telling the TRUE story of his Remarkable Mother.  I think Rebecca should pay a surprise visit to liven things up and maybe bring Mary Williams along for the ride. The two would throw all the gamblers out and Rebecca would lace into George. A scene I'd like to see.

Where is Rebecca, anyway? She vanished like Mrs. Martinez. Maybe they went on a cruise together somewhere.

While watching the poker game yesterday, I thought how funny it would be if Rebecca came downstairs, asked to join the game, and proceeded to clean them all out. When Brad sat there shocked, she'd say, ''But Georgie, how do you think I supported myself all these years .. making Matzah?''

Like mark, I'm starting to feel a little sorry for David.  It's bad enough his addiction has him being financially dishonest and lying to Nikki but at least I understand those things often go with the territory.  I'm a lot less inclined to overlook Brad and Skye knowing David has a problem and deliberately taking advantage of it for their own selfish ends.

And speaking of George, I have mixed feelings about the direction in which this character has been taken.  On the one hand, I kind of miss the nobler Brad Carlton of yesteryear.  On the other hand, Brad has become the type of character I love to hate and poke fun of on the board.

He's horrible, but I'm ok with it. Might as well go all the way. There's no turning back now!

When he said to Chow, ''I'm your friend'' I had to lean over and pick my smirk up off the floor. He has lost all conscience. Whatever wheels he has turning in his head, he is without question absolutely serious about it. $100000 serious.

I feel sorry for David. He hasn't really done anything wrong other than lie to cover up his addiction. Not much different than Daniel. Pretty obvious that their going to treat him like dirt, and then boot him off the show. Unfortunately with his creepy lack of expression, and permanent look of confusion and bewilderment no matter what the circumstance... I can't say I blame TPTB here.

  • Um, are you kidding? When David was first introduced he was stalking Dru and trying to gaslight her into thinking Carmen was still alive. He still hasn't told Nikki his real name. The guy is nothing but trouble. -eom
