Additional Comments: For a while Y&R was getting better, but now it barely grabs and/or maintains my interest. JT used to be cool, now he's a dud. It's one absurdity after the next with Gloria. So many mismatched couples. So much emphasis on Chloe and Amber. Nikki's out of shape and getting heavier by the day. This mess with Victor marrying a girl young enough to be his grandchild is ridiculous...the list goes on and on. If it wasn't for the visual stimulation that comes with watching Heather, I don't think I could watch this show for a minute.

Melody still looks great and she is not out of shape. Even if she were, I like it when we can see actors who are built like every day people. Not everyone can be pencil thin and not everyone should be.

There are parts I ff through...the tyke singing, Amber shrieking, etc. but for the most part, I'm enjoying Y&R now that LML and her attempt to make the show a prime time mystery, is no longer around. I'm really enjoying Adam and Heather, Nicki and her pathetic husband Chowman, and yes, even Victor and Sabrina (when they're not kissing or speaking French). I also enjoy Jack and sharon, tho we know that relationship (like all soap ones) is doomed.

Yes, Nicki is putting on weight but hey, most women who are middle age do pack on a few lbs. I'm hoping the wardrobe dept. will try to dress her more appropriately. She's still a darn good actress and I try not to judge people by their size. Y&R is still the best soap on and I will watch it because I've sat through the good, the bad and the ugly for most of it's time on TV. I'm hoping it continues for a long time.
