Additional Comments: Funny, now that Lily is alone, the Lily Haters aren't saying much. Why do these people hate seeing this character with a love interest? Is it they can only tolerate the actress when she is the loyal friend(scene but not heard)? I guess they'd prefer to see her as background scenery if she has to be a part of the show. Why is it alright for everyone except her to have a mate? The dislike of this actress seems to be from a personal level.

I loved Lily since the first day she appeared on the show (the older Lily...who moved back to Genoa City with her mom because she was getting in trouble in Paris)! I immediately said that she would make a wonderful model....tall and thin with great bone structure!
But she doesn't seem to have any personality! Like most women in Genoa City, she doesn't seem to have any thoughts of her own....except being jealous or having a crust, etc. Like others have said....very immature. She wanted to be a model....but not really. It just seemed like something to keep her busy. She's very mixed up. She hated Chloe, but still let her stay in her home! She wouldn't marry Cane when she thought she was pregnant, but she TOLD HIM to marry Chloe, even though the blood test can't be definitive until the baby is born.
She pestered Daniel until he finally caved in and married her....but then she dropped him like a hot potato because he was looking at porn on the computer. She met Kevin Fisher on the Internet, had a bad experience with him....and now she is obviously thinking of picking up some new guy on the Internet.
I could go on....but suffice it to say, she needs to get a life and figure out just what she is put on earth for. But then, again, I see Soap Operas as lessons in "what NOT to do in life" and Lily is a good example for young women of "how NOT to be."
(I still like her, though. I keep thinking she'll surprise me....)

Message: I wouldn't consider myself a Lilly hater, I just don't get why she is a front burner character on the show. She has two emotions; happy and sad. The rest of the time her facial expressions, and in fact her whole body is drab and emotionless. She has no charisma whatsoever. She is too young for Cane, and I have tried to like them as a couple, but they are ridiculous together. She is like a teenager, very awkward and giggly, not at all like an adult. She is an attractive person, but not the drop-dead gorgeous model that they are trying to get us to buy. I wasn't watching the show when she won her Emmy, so maybe I just haven't seen her with a meaty storyline. I do like Cane, but since they have paired him with Lily, he seems to have had a lobotomy.

I think one of the problems with the character of Lilly is that her whole existence is based on her relationship with "a man".
Yeah, she was the Fresh Face of Jabot model, but that was just a vehicle for her getting to spend all her time with Cane. Other than that, she hangs out with Colleen, but what do they talk about? Cane. And before that it was Daniel. When she actually is part of another scene, her family, she talks about her mother, and Cane. Of course, her family is so dull, it doesn't matter if they are planning a bank heist, she would still talk about how her mother would feel about it, and why Cane couldn't drive the getaway car. Cane and Lilly's relationship just seemed off, to begin with. When they got together she was still playing a young girl, and he was already playing adult male. Forcing them together just didn't fit. I got used to them together, but I never found them very entertaining together.
At least she's not as bad off as Karen, who really doesn't exist outside her relationship with Neil. Or Devon's walk-on part girlfriend.
The whole thing about Colleen taking over Lilly's modeling job is just stupid. I don't think Colleen is all that, but Lilly whining about her taking the job didn't help. They've settled it for now, anyway, but I"m sure we'll see it again.

Message: Her loves scenes with Cane were painful to watch, I need to fast forward the flashbacks they have every now and then. He looked way to old for her and she acted like a 14 year old around him. It was better if the writers had kept her with Daniel who is now painful to watch with Coleen.

The Lily et al SL is so boring I just don't generally have the interest to post about her.
But if you really want to hear it...Lily a selfish little princess who believes the world revolves around her; she's a stupid little twit for telling Cane he must marry Chloe 'for the baby's sake'; she's a whiney little self-absorbed immature brat for crying about her choices after she's made them; etc, etc, etc.
Lily (and everyone in her SL) is painful and boring to watch; so I don't. Which is why I don't post about her.
BTW, I don't hate her. I just can't stand her.

She thinks she is an adult and jumps ar her first thought. She must stop and think of ALL the ramifications.
I choose to see less of her while she does this!
