Lily for the past few days is blaming her pregnancy for what happened between Neil and Karen. Can't she see what's going on and think something was OFF about Daddy wanting Karen to help raise the baby? The man is a real control freak, Lily sees it in her own situation but surprisingly doesn't see it re: Karen.

Message: Neil does high amd mighty better than anyone, he doesn't bark at people like the old goat does he just says things in a way that let the object of his anger know how betrayed and disappointed he is. Even if Lilly were not so caught up in her own emotions right now I don't think she would recogonize what Neil is doing to Karen beacuse of the way he presents things. Not only does he see himself as the victim he does it in such a way that those around him buy into it. MOst of the time I like Neil but right now he is reminding me of the Carmen chasing Neil and I did not like him.

Message: It would be really nice if the writers gave us some insight on the reason why Neil acts the way he does. You know, like add some depth to the character rather than constantly making him look smug and irrational by default. He'd be a lot more tolerable. Actually that goes for other characters as well.

I always liked the Winters family but they have turned Neil into an almost obsessive person. What he did to the most normal good person in GC Karen, was unbelieveable.
He treats Lily like she's 14. She has been married and is an adult woman. He should have butt out when Lily and Canes baby died. They needed to be alone together. Lily is denying any feelings and I think she will have some kind of breakdown. If Daddy hadn't been right in between them all the time, she may have cried and let it out with Cane.

Message: I also think it is strange that Neil would not let Karen put her own stuff on the walls, when she wanted to take down a picture Dru had put up. I would want to move to a new place altogether. I think his creepy obsession with Lilly was the straw that broke the camels back.
