I'm talking about Michael and Lauren no longer getting involved in Gloria's life. Michael just had to march over to Gloria's lawyer. He is such an animated ham these days. Doesn't he know that the best way to satisfy an attention seeker is to give her attention? Gloria would simmer down if he just ignored her. Instead, he ignites her.
Painful, painful scenes.
Oh FGS! Michael did not go tracking down Gloria. He was trying to spend an evening alone out with his wife. GLORIA tracked them down by calling the babysitter to find out where they were. He was UPSET that Gloria would even consider adopting a child. He went to tell her lawyer NOT to go through with it. He also told Lauren that when Gloria "tired of her whim" it would mean that THEY would end up with a sibling for Fen. Which is absolutely what would happen. When he left the table Gloria had not told them she wasn't going through with it. As Michael left the table, she said, "don't waste your time."
He can't win no matter what he does. If he had went along with Gloria's idea or simply ignored her he would have been trashed for NOT speaking to the lawyer. Gloria saying she's adopting a baby would be impossible to ignore.
