Additional Comments: Ryder's mother may not be Sheila Carter, who knows, but whoever is gunning for Lauren and Michael has got to be Sheila. Who else would go after them? The biggest hint was the gift. At Lauren's wedding, Sheila left her a present that supposedly had a snake in it, but was never opened bc Lauren had canceled that wedding (this was when Sheila destroyed the cake).
Okay, now on the rooftop a similar present is left for Lauren, and inside of it is a rat. When Sheila poisoned Lauren's necklace, Lauren threw a dinner on the rooftop. She saw rats! Now Lauren is on a rooftop and is given a rat! It has to be Sheila! It just has to, and I don't care about the objectors, it has to be her! No other explanation, it all fits. Especially since Kimberlin Brown was contacted by BB in August about returning, she may just stop by YR for a few episodes to reveal she is alive.
Sheila could be playing Ryder, not really be his mother, but that's what he is saying. Hell he may not even be Tom's son. Sheila could have faked the DNA test, and Tom may have bragged to her about that painting, that's how she knew about it. And Sheila does have a history with Deacon's son, she wanted her own daughter to raise it at one point.
I'm happy, some may not be, but I hope she's back.

Message: I do not like Sheila. They stated on Monday's show that it had to be someone that knew the wedding was going on. IMO I think it was Ryder or Daisy.

All signs do point to Sheila, sadly enough. I'm not that much more thrilled over Sugar, either, but I guess she'd be better than Sheila.

Message: The first day Shiela's snoot shows up will be my last day watching Y&R. I don't care what form she takes, she can come in disguised as The Hunchback of Notre Dame, I'm not adding Shiela's krap to the plethora of spaced-out plots already going on. It's hard enough to feel any enthusiasm for watching as it is. Sheila will be the last straw.

We don't know if this is true or not, but last Thursday over on the Soapnet board, someone posted that cbs.com had confirmed that Robin Mattson will be playing Ryder's mom - whether as Sugar or whomever, we don't know.
But it might make sense Sugar is out to avenge her galpal's death.

Message: Well we all know that Sheila's superhuman powers and wealth are endless. Anything is possible. If Sheila returns it will be a cold day in Hell before I record another episode of Y&R (just like I did a long time ago with B&B). I may catch the show on occassion but a daily recording/watching routine will be a thing of the past.
