Message: Thanks for this wonderful post. I also am a Trace Adkins fan! I have seen so many posts that slammed him...but I think we country music appreciators deserve to get our say in also.

He has the great speaking voice also! He is one tall cool drink of water! LOL
That song is so cool! Listen to the words. They have special meanings! So true!

Message: I often get impatient with celebrity/singer appearances on Y&R, but I loved the number Trace Adkins sang. I could relate to the lyrics and I thought it was appropriate for Nick and Phyllis, who will no doubt be remembering the happier times when they begin to encounter difficulties in their marriage. At least we're past the days when Lance Prentiss, Lori Brooks & others would break into song in the middle of a scene!

Message: I do like country music and Trace is very good. His song wasn't up to par, I guess he did it live, should have lip sung it. But I FF it too, it just wasn't necessary to sit and listen through. He's not an actor so he seemed uncomfortable , and Nick was like a big goof IMO acting like he was his pal.... PLEASE ! I am now wondering about Trace on stage doing a concert, does he have stage presence ? Has anyone seen him in concert ? I saw Rascal Flatts and they were fantastic, a real must see if you like country cross over pop.

Message: I don't care for country music but besides that, I hate when anyone performs on the show. It's a waste of time IMO.
