Wouldn't it be a hoot if Adam started taking an interest in Lily? Young model, daughter of one of the highest execs at his company. And Neil would approve because he likes Adam's ambition and the fact that he is a Newman. Cane would be in a snit. Then Victor would lure Lily away from Jabot to make Adam happy, and Nikki & Victoria (and Cane & Jill) would be furious. There would be a romantic war going on, as well as a war between the company because of contractual disputes. Newman will claim that Lily's contract wasn't iron tight because she had been 'lent' out before. Some great S/L possibilites there!
(and maybe that's why Adam was looking at the bassinet in the office...he's looking for a baby mommy and Lily could be it!)

Message: Lily and Adam. Not on your life! She's still her Daddy's baby. I don't see Adam with her at all. Heather has been shown as ambitious and smart--but I don't know if she'd care for his sarcasm and rudeness. Well, just a thought. I'd like to see more of Heather. Anything other than Victor and Sabrina smooching....that's a FF, Lily and Cane is also a FF...Lily avoiding Cane was a turnoff for me. It's true a woman who has lost a baby she thought she was carrying is a terrible thing but she could have shown a little compassion for Cane with his disappointment even if it's not such a horrible thing as a woman going through it. I would hope a couple would support each other and be as loving as possible at such a blow.

Message: I can't see Lily having much appeal for Adam. If his attraction to Skye and Phyllis are any indication, Adam seems to be drawn to women with strong personalities, who are on a level with him intellectually. I wouldn't write off Lily and Cane as a couple just yet. They'll be better suited to one another in a few years once Lily has a chance to grow up a bit more.

Lily. Lily just is a fluff character for me as she reminds me of a young Cricket. Always the victim with the level head while other forces conspire against her. Next thing you know she'll be dressing up like Marilyn Monroe in order to save Colleen from answering a personal ad placed by an undercover Nazi/Reliquary thief.

Message: Cane is a big bore-he needs someone closer to his age. Maybe Skye would be good for him--at least try to get him to be less boring. Adam is a lively character but if the writers make him another appendage to the Lily show, he's doomed.
