He's much more than boring, he's scarey. I could live with boring if his ideas were sane and would save this country from financial ruin. We don't need terrorists or crazy dictators to ruin this country. It's well underway with the debt, job losses, loss of freedoms and just plain dumbing down of American. Unless his positions are just pandering to the neocons to get elected, we're in for 4 more years of Bush policies. This country is so far in debt, we can barely see top and McCain wants to, not only make the tax cuts permanent, but add corporate tax cuts. He wants to continue the debacle in Iraq and Afganistan, making them permanent with all the loss in life and treasure and ill will from other countries.. He says he'll cut 'earmarks' but that would be just a little dent in total expenses. His only other options would be to cut Social Security, Medicare and other programs that keep the eldest and most vunerable members of society alive. He'd only add to an already very right wing Supreme Court which would cut even further into our liberties. The man has a hair trigger temper which means that a nuclear launch at some poor country would be a very real possiblity. (Although Hillary's comment that she'd wipe Iran off the face of the earth if they attacked Israel is bad enough)
I'll make book that McSame will fool the American people into electing him. All we seem to care about is whether a candidate goes to the 'right' church, wears a flag lapel pin or seems like a person you could have a beer with. I have absolutely NO FAITH in the American people to at least try and save this country.
I think the guy could definitely use a thesaurus.
==========
From Indecision 2008:
While touring New Orleans to survey the reconstruction efforts, John McCain found himself confronted with an insane thing that one of his insane supporters once said. Specifically (I know, it's so hard to choose), reporters questioned McCain about the Rev. John Hagee's statement that Hurricane Katrina was God's revenge on the big gay city.
McCain's synapses sprang into something that resembled action, but then they got kind of stuck...
Q: What is your reaction (to Hagee Katrina comments)?
McCain: It's nonsense.
Q: Would you withdraw accepting his endorsement?
McCain: It's nonsense, it's nonsense, it's nonsense. It's nonsense. I don't have anything additional to say about that. It's nonsense.
Q: Do you regret accepting his endorsement?
McCain: It's nonsense. I don't have anything more to say about that. Of course -- I apologize for that. It's nonsense.
To recap: it's nonsense, John McCain doesn't have anything more to say about that, and he desperately needs to be plugged back in to his charger if this campaign is going to continue.

Nope, not you, topcat. He's boring, imo.
I have read, though, that he has a temper like a buzzsaw so maybe he could get heated up..... ....after his nap.
