First of all, divorce is very sad. That being said, who didn't see this coming with Star & Al?
I've never liked it when someone (especially in the media) makes such a BDD about their wedding. They spew all of these lovey dovey things, and spend more money than most of us make a life time to PROVE their love and devotion. Most of the biggest spashiest ones are the most short lived. And these were the people that were splashed all over the covers of magazine's with their 'friends and family' being quoted as 'they are so in love' 'it's the real thing' Here are some that I can remember. Can you add to my list?
Liza Minelli & David Guest Tori Spelling & Charlie Shanian Lisa Marie Presley & Nicolas Cage Julia Roberts & Lyle Lovett Renee Zellweger & Kenny Chesney Denise Richards & Charlie Sheen Jennifer Lopez & Chris Judd Heather Mills & Paul McCarney Star Jones & Al Mariah Carey & Tommy Molota Marc Anthony & Dayanara Torres

Unfortunately, in our society single = L O S E R
That's a major contributing factor for the >50% divorce rate in our society and the majority of those aren't celebrities.

Message: Starr was probaly more interested in the media attention that the wedding drew than the marriage itself. She came off as a real Bridezilla, imo, with all of her trying to get services for free and stuffing the guest list with as many big-name celebs as she could. True to the nature of these type personalities, the marriage itself is always less important than the *It's All About Me* show that comes with the wedding. It's not just the celebs either that are guilty of this. I've seen many real-life couples that split up after their grandiose wedding gala was over and the attention had faded away.

Message: I remember their wedding as being a commercial event and that his sexuality was always a question mark. I saw which I think are recent pics of Starr, man, that's scarey, she looks nothing like she did when on the view. I liked her better when heavier. Too bad, how sad, another celeb marriage bites the dust. And who cares? Probably no one!

Message: I saw something about this yesterday. What amazed me was the article said many wonder about this guys sexuality. Wouldn't you have some hint? Of course I think Liza married 2 different gay guys didn't she?
There are some on your list who I have no idea who they are! LOL And I really have no idea who Star's soon to be ex is. I paid little or no attention to all that weddding junk at that time.
I wonder about huge fancy weddings of any kind. Seems the wedding is the most important thing not the marriage.
