I came across this story tonight. It sounds like one of those movies where you know the plot line, but I thought it was fascinating. If you are interested in such things, enjoy!

So many of those beautiful women, e.g. Linda Darnell, Marilyn Monroe, Gene Tierney, Rita Hayworth and Frances Farmer, had terribly sad, tragic lives.

It is sad. And you wonder how she could have let that happen three times. It is wonderfully written. I could not stop reading it! I am glad you checked it out. mzc

It seems her main weakness was in trusting the men in her life too much, and allowing them complete control of her finances. With her acting ability and beauty, just think of what this woman could have accomplished, if she'd been fortunate enough to fall in love with somebody who really loved and supported her 100%.

Imagine! She had such talent and strength in every area of her life except men and finances. mzc

Thanks for posting this. I have bookmarked the links and will read the articles later. I have to admit I have never heard of this woman. She certainly was beautiful.

I hadn't heard of her either, and yet she was in over 25 films, and had great success in vaudeville and on broadway. She was gorgeous. Last night I watched an almost 10 minute montage of pictures of her on youtube, and each ad every one was just stunning.
