Didn't Sarah Palin say that Senator Obama hadn't 'authored a single law'? He seems to have authored several during his time with the Illinois state gov't.
One problem he wanted to address was that too many confessions, rather than being voluntary, were coerced -- by beating the daylights out of the accused.
Obama proposed requiring that interrogations and confessions be videotaped.

The heavy hand of Karl Rove can be seen here .... once he came on board, the lies, negativity, character bashing etc began to flow!!!!
Rudy Giugliani and VP hopeful, Palin, both distorted the truth and out and out lied!
No wonder President Eisenhower's offspring have left the Republican Party and are voting for the democrats ... poor DDE must be rolling over in his grave! But he should have worked harder to keep Richard Nixon, the master of defamation and dirty tricks [Tricky dicky] out of his presidency. That said, I do believe Ike was an honourable and very intelligent man ... he would be appalled at the way in which the "war on terror" or "the war in the name of terror" has been conducted!

Intersting reading, faysie. Wanna bet not many will read this? It sure as heck is obvious that the 'speech writers' for Ms. Palin didn't. Or else she just lied. Which as a matter of fact she's done before.
This is from The Frontiersman in Alaska, so some there didn't like the lie, either:
" For you idiots who write Obama has done nothing and has no experience, I share this with you.

Thank you for posting this. Faysie, I watch alot of crime shows, as forensic science has fascinated me for a long time. And one thing that has always bothered me, is coerced confessions. Some confessions are videotaped, but I believe ALL should be videotaped, from the time they bring the person in for questioning, until it is over. This will NOT make it more difficult for law enforcement to nab the bad guy. On the contrary. At least, the bad guy and his attorney would not be able to say that the confession was "coerced". Not if it was recorded on tape, plus, if the person's attorney is not present, then there should be an impartial witness present.
