It's a beautiful day in Omaha. Unfortunately there are no mountains to the east or west and not a drop of sparkling blue water to be seen.
I guess I could drive over by the airport later so I could see the bluffs and the muddy waters of the Missouri river. Now I'm depressed.

I certainly didn't mean to depress you, but maybe it will cheer you up to know the weather has turned sour this afternoon. It can never last long enough. rushlan
I'll get over it. . . . . :) UncleJJJ

Sounds beautiful, rushlan. The Pacific Northwest is the only part of the continental U.S. I've never visited. I took a walk around the neighborhood after lunch, it's such a beautiful spring day. Lilacs getting ready to bloom, robins singing, tulips and phlox flourishing. I always think May is one of the prettiest months in Massachusetts.

I think May is really pretty here too. The flowers and trees are blooming and there are so many shades of green. It's just lovely. rushlan

It sounds lovely there! I had some friends who were from Washington State and they used to talk about how beautiful it is there.
We are having the same kind of clear blue-skied weather here in The Netherlands. I go back to work tomorrow after a 3-month respite and am glad the weather will be nice (I work as a mail carrier).

I hope the weather stays nice for you too. Do yo walk your route or do you use a vehicle? rushlan
I walk, pushing a cart, or use a bike with HUGE bike bags. We have a few routes that are auto routes and I know a couple of them but mostly do it
mostly do it

Dreary wet and humid here. But yesterday was wonderful!!
The only time we were in that part of the country I certainly loved the beauty.

Well the morning was quite spectacular but now, at 3 PM, it is once again dreary. Darn! Rushlan

Oh, that sounds beautiful. I've never been to the PA Northwest, but it's one of the places I have on a long list that I'd like to visit one day.
