Kate,
I DON'T even have to look! Hell yeah I am underpaid!
Let's see it's 10 09 here so far I have
gotten two grouchy teenagers out of bed and endured the 20 min shower (each ordeal)
Meanwhile I put in my 1st load of Landry
Then I made breakfast for the teenagers ( grumble grumble) they would rather have sugar laced cereal but I am a mean mom and make them eggs and sausage * cry me a river*
I drove teen aged boys to school drop off #1 son where * gasp* no one can see that I am dropping him off!
I have 10 min before I drop off #2 son so I study poetry definitions for 10 min much to the chagrin of #2 son. All the while listing to his tale of woe that he fell off his skateboard yesterday and somehow therefore he should have today off, Not gonna happen.
Go home * switch the laundry over fold what was dry and ....
wake up #3 son....
Make coffee *MUST HAVE COFFEE
Make #3 son breakfast as well as council him about his EXTREME crush on a girl in his class and listen to the woes of 4th grade romance.
Get him in shower
* wash my face..........FINALLY!
Check my emails from last night * business* and respond
Get clean sweats on
Listen to #3 son make a case that it's raining and therefore he shouldn't have to go to school.
Take #3 son to school and do a drive by a house I want the listing for and scope it out.
Stop at the supermarket and get provisions
Take the groceries in and switch the laundry over and fold what is dry.
Make a quick work phone call
Put away all the groceries
Put water up to boil to make Homemade macaroni cheese * because since I went back to work I don't make the yummy things I used to ( said with big brown 5th grade eyes this morning. OH CRAP... Usually I would blow that off but #3 is right I have been to busy and I need to make some mommy stuff
Put cream on my face because I am OLD!
Come into my office and get an email that that a client wants to look at some houses today at 12 and I have some showings between 430 and 6.
Pull up this page for a moment of relaxation and this is what I see.

Yep, I am worth a hefty 6 figures, LOL. I live in an area where many people consider you nothing if you're not sitting in a big scary office 12 hours a day and making the big bucks. Caregiving gets so, so little respect. Here's an organization trying to do something about that. Founders include authors Ann Crittendon (The Price of Motherhood) and Naomi Wolf (The Beauty Myth), among others. Parents, grandparents, and other caregivers--a web site worth checking out!
