Subject: Serialmom, birds do build nests in all sorts of unlikely places. Years ago I worked in a building where a mockingbird built her nest in a big shrub right next to the front door, where hundreds of people came and went all day long. Everyone loved watching the progress of the babies and I guess the mama bird felt confident that no one would bother them. - Peridot
