Subject: You can't ''combine'' the two. You either have Socialism or you have Capitalism. I still would prefer the latter. I do not want the government having a hand in everything I do or want to do. Govt is big enough. Free enterprise is why this country has thrived. Yes, we are in bad times now, but if we had let capitalism work (as opposed to this ''bailout''), it probably would take a while, but everything would work out. The very wealthy would buy up these failed institutions, and hopefully they would be more careful who they made loans to. But, that's another post!............................DianeR
