Subject: The principal said that they could test her, but if she is doing as poorly as I say she is then switching to that school would not be an answer.

Subject: i agree that sometimes switching is not the answer but it is in some cases. if this is something you really want to do i would persue it. i handle admissions so i would tend to say something like that initially BUT every child is different. if she had been doing well up to a certain point, it would do you well to investigate. it could be a maturity thing. i know when i handle families i want to make sure when we do bring them in that we are not setting them up for failure. we want them to transition easily. good luck--carm
