Subject: Deb, hubby and I decided if we were to go again we'd sit in the first balcony close to the stage to get a better view. It's fun to sit at a table, but also crowded down on the floor. I know what you mean about the Esplanade. Hubby and I went the first year we were married and swore, never again. I got just the briefest glimpse of the Pops that time (when John Williams was still conducting), it was so hard to move around with wall-to-wall bodies. So much nicer to enjoy the 4th of July concert in my own home, out of the weather, with the Surround Sound turned on! - Peridot
