Subject: I thought about an overlay but the stains show thru that too. That is why I decided to go the sequin route. It still may end up being Cassie's Halloween outfit! That site has some gorgeous fabric. eom CG

Subject: I was actually thinking you could add a LACE overlay which would mask the stains entirely.... eom ~Evermom

Subject: The lace overlay would be gorgeous if you didn't care for the coloured organza with a matching organza stole. That would be a great prom dress. I know the lace idea will work because I did something similar a few years back for my niece. She found an old wedding gown at a resale shop. The bodice was perfect, the skirt less so. She bought a royal blue lace fabric which I used as overlay. The inperfections were hidden. I then used more to make a matching wrap. She was gorgeous and her prom date was totally enamoured. I can still see his face when her dad opened the door to let him into the house for the usual pre-prom pictures.
