Subject: Call 'em what you want.. doesn't change the fact that they are watched by more people than any of the other national news networks. Heck, even MSNBC and HLN get more viewers than CNN. Wouldn't surprise me if more people started jumped from that sinking ship.

Subject: Just because people watch that kerap doesn't mean it's responsible reporting. (And last I heard, Fox's viewership had fallen significantly, not that they'd report that.) And if their reporting is so fact-based, why do they keep getting caught lying? Just recently, they were caught substituting footage of a different rally than the one they were reporting on -- they were trying to make it look like the crowd was many times larger than it actually was. And if I'm not mistaken, it wasn't the first time. You call that journalism? ~i&b

Subject: The scary thing with Fox is that the millions who watch it DO believe it's responsible journalism. They don't seem to care that they are being lied to & manipulated. It's a disgrace................Liz

Subject: As opposed to MSNBC whose commentators don't know the difference between Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson? And i&b, I don't know where you're getting your ratings info from b/c Fox is UP from this time last year. They are averaging 3x as many viewers as MSNBC and CNN and have about 1 million more than both CNN and MSNBC put together. I think you may be referring to the aforementioned other two networks who DROPPED significantly from this time last year.

Subject: Yes, you are correct. I just checked and Faux News does have higher ratings again since I last heard. Apparently, Lou Dobbs cost CNN quite a few viewers. Nevertheless, that doesn't change the fact that Faux News lies and distorts -- even to the point of showing false footage that was obviously taped in a completely different season than the immediate event. And that's just one example. Faux actually reported more than once that WMDs were found in Iraq. If that ain't phoney journalism, I don't know what is. ~i&b

Subject: Like I said, you can say what you want.. but they have several Democratic commentators who have said they are the most balanced of all the national news networks. That's why everyone (with the exception of those up Zero's ass) are trying to get on their network. BTW, what's with the White House issuing blunt warnings to Democrats not to appear on Fox? Threatened much about the truth getting out? It's incredulous that anyone would talk about Fox being biased and untrustworthy, but then use CNN and MSNBC as shining examples of *real* journalism. CNN is down 30%, that's not all Lou Dobbs.
